If it’s the weekend, you’ll invariably find Simon, the founder of BiziBAZA®, at his local farmers’
market, loading up on the fresh ingredients
He’s been a passionate supporter of farmers’ markets and his local mom-and-pop stores for as long as he can remember — and has always loved the vibrancy of the traditional bazaars he’s visited on his travels around the world. But Simon noticed that many of the small businesses in his neighborhood were often struggling to survive. He began to wonder how his decades-long experience working for global retail giants could be put to local good use. So, in 2013, the idea for BiziBAZA® was born.
When a close family member was diagnosed with an extremely rare disease he felt ever more strongly the need to launch BiziBAZA® as a force for good — and for good health — in his local community and beyond. Therefore, Simon has pledged that 10% of BiziBAZA®’s annual profits will go to support the work of non-profit organizations UMDF, ADOAA & LHON and their vital research into rare diseases.
